You leftists tried that one in CA too until some in the news media checked the facts and found all kinds of National guard people and equipment available and just sitting around waiting for orders from the govenor the wind to die down. The problem in New Orleans was the mayor and the govenor that refused to response to federal government pleas to just their ass in gear. They had orders from the Dem big wigs to not let Bush look good so they wouldn't request fed help.
