I would there fore assume your mother is in her 80s . Lets say she is 85 then she would have been born in 1922. She did not start paying into medicare until 1963 and if she retired when she was 65 that would hav been 1987 making her paying 1 1/2 percent into medicare since 1963 . a whopping 24 years. SHe would use up every penny paid in with one short hospital stay . As far as your imaginative slur on a woman with 5 children by different husbands. I have personally never known any one in those circumstances. DO YOU ???? Rather a sexist statement as if you know someone like this she did not concieve the children all by herself.
