Date Posted: 14:19:59 04/10/07 Tue In reply to: Oropan 's message, "And" on 13:12:19 04/10/07 Tue there would not be a shortage of teachers. IN my area some of the school districts are giving teachers a subsidy as the teachers cannot find housing that is affordable on their wages. It may be different in other areas i can only say what has gone on in my area. Seattle was enjoying a job boom when other places in the nation were not this job boom started right after they raised the minimum in my state to the highest in the nation. more people were able to buy more goods therefore more workers were needed to sell to them etc. this boom was in every walk not just minimum paying jobs .
