And US attornys can be fired for any reason including political. Infact that IS the main reason that they are usually fired. Lying is not a crime unless it is under oath. Or everyone in Congress would already be in jail. Infact even lying under oath will usually not be procecuted....example:Bill Clinton. > However did she lie to get attorneys fired?
