In reply to: Bev 's message, "Really !!!! The facility not the health care is the reason walter reed is in the hot seat" on 10:24:54 03/12/07 Mon

I've been in VA hospitals as far back as the 70's and they were nothing to write home about even back then.
And private hospitals use these same private contractors and things are just fine. This sounds alot more like sour grapes from lazy UNION Government workers who got their butts kicked out.
BTW, did the rats read that the garbage pickup was privatized and then they all headed over there.

>it not just janitors who were involved its the ceos of
>the company hired to administer to the physical
>facility you are in trouble. it was not the health
>care workers who were responsible for the mold or rats
>and mice > the health care workers were not
>responsible for the painting , etc. it was the corp
>who took over the buildings . This is what happens
>when rep take over and hand out no bid contracts to
>the people who funded their campaigns . BTW
>electricians, painters, plumbers, masonary workers ,
>tile setters etc are not janitors.
