The lead filly would have been delighted at her arrival and immediately welcomed her, that is, if she weren't lying semi-conscious on the banks of an icy creek, body temperature below average and shivering half to death. But something in the air was welcoming about the place, the quiet seclusion where no outside "evil" could reach them and no adults "thinking they know what's best". Nope, it was all free and wonderful, and the only true home Sin And Salvation had ever known.
