He was thinking, conscious thought coming and going at the most random of times, unpredictatable just like her current state. She was barely aware of the colt's incessant tugging and when she did, she felt a high pitched bubble of giggling building inside her as though it were all a giant joke, it wasn't real, all of it. They were floating on clouds above the territory, becoming nothing but dark shapes against the wash of blue and shadows dancing merrily of their own accord. Or so she thought. Wearily, the filly kicked at the water, believing it to be but air and miraculously not harming Freedom in the process.
