He was a phenomenal drummer. Stylistically tasteful, yet he had a style unique enough that you could pick him out and say -- "Hey, that has to be the drummer from SHJ!" .... it's another sad loss for ska.
On a lighter note, I checked The Skatalites site the other day.... did you guys know Johnny Moore is back with the band? They now have 5 original members (including Doreen) .... I wish they'd come back around here again!
