Subject: Heart of the Whirlwind - A Silver Brumby RPG

Heart of the Whirlwind is a Silver Brumby game set when Thowra was a two-year-old, and it spans the entire Snowy Mountains - which means that although, due to continuity and things like that, you cannot play anyone from the later books (ie SBD and onward) as they are in the books you can play them as they were around the time of Thowra's youth, or you can play an ancestor of a later character. Or, of course, you can create your own or adopt one already available.
We have the great leader of the Brumbies of the Night, Ringaroo, as a confused young colt looking for the meaning of life. The Brolga rules over the Cascades with an iron hoof, feeling pretty sure of himself and his reign, and yet all throughout the mountains around him horses are being born whose futures will far outshine his own... If only he knew. XD
And somewhere deep in the hidden paradise of the Valley of the Caves lives a herd of mysterious origins, a rare few of their number dark-coated with a strange pewter hue through their manes and tails, with fine, noble bearings and an air of elusive wonder - the herd from which came the blood of the legendary Moon Filly, Ilinga.
Come, run free with the brumbies and survive the harsh realities of the wild. Or you could hunt with dingoes, chatter about life, the universe and bananas with the possums, or ponder philosophical theories with the kangaroos. You can even find out what your foal's Spirit Guide is from the Elders and bush spirits. And of course, RP, RP, RP! ^_^

Heart of the Whirlwind is a mostly-realistic advanced horse, human and wildlife RP based on the continuum and characters in the book series by Elyne Mitchell. All characters from the books are copyright to her, all other characters, storylines and ideas are copyright to their creators. The Snowy Mountains are real, and HotW has tried to replicate the area as closely as is possible with our current forum.
Please read the rules before posting (there is stuff in there that should help you out if you are confused about the setting or anything), and don't hesitate to ask if you want help or aren't sure about something.
