Wait- I know! I know!

It was fine that your child was benefitting from cheating before everyone knew about it and now you hope that the rest of us will overlook it. Best of both worlds.

Don't worry. Your child will continue to benefit from cheating because it still goes on. It's going to be just fine. They will do well at this competition.

Also- don't be surprised when your child learns this particular lesson a little too well.

I find that parents that engage in cheating themselves (or condone it) often find themselves navigating their children's academic dishonesty in school or cheating/dishonesty in other areas of life.

You do reap what you sow- but medals and globes are worth it.
You're a really great parent.
