They book what is available. The vast majority are there with one parent, that parent pays, these venues are pricy. I remember Worlds in Boston where some block hotels were in another state. Unfortunately an entire region went bankrupt after not having a mandatory 15+ years ago, ever since NANS and Worlds heals in NA have blocks. Newbies always complain.

You made an important point inside. A region went bankrupt several years ago because people chose not to book in the block. Having a block allows us to get the space for the event for little cost. The $100 isn't meant to be an admission fee. It's meant to be a deterrent to people booking outside the block. (NT) -- ., 08:32:53 04/17/24 Wed
