Subject: Don’t know about the hard shoes but have a pair of the softshoes
In reply to: Same quality as original? 's message, "Looking for feedback on the new Rutherford shoes. The "gold" line." on 22:06:25 04/14/24 Sun

Context- previously wore Hullachan 3’s, have never worn other Rutherford softshoes, was getting some foot pain from the Hullachan (I think they hit a nerve in my foot).
Ordered a size 6 (what I wore in the Hullachans), they fit great for about an hour and then stretched so much you could see the bright green insole around my toe. I convinced myself for quite a while that it was just the laces stretching but I’m now pretty sure it’s the leather stretching that much (plus being ordered at too large a size). I loved how supportive they felt despite the stretching, it never felt like I was going to lose a shoe, and I was no longer having the foot pain, so I’ve reordered sized down a bit (don’t remember if I did a full or half size), they’re supposed to arrive tomorrow. I’ve never had a pair of shoes that I wasn’t able to get the front part under the toe to bend/point after a month+ of wear, but these are still pretty stiff; not sure if that’s from them being too big or something with the shoe design.
If I remember and people are interested, I’ll try to review these new, hopefully well-fitting, ones once I’ve worn them a couple classes.
