Hi! I do not personally like EAPoe very much. I mean, I respect him, but it frightens me a lot when I read it. However, I think it is useful for the classroom. of course, that's depending on the group. Last year I had a group of sts that were really difficult to motivate and all they liked was rock music and they hated the book and they hated the reader they had to do. So I proposed reading something really spooky. It turns out they got really motivated with Poe and they themselves brought some short stories to read in class. But as I told you, it all depends in the group, If I had had to read Poe as a student, I would have hated it!
