Subject: Twins are always fun...

I used to play here, actually, but then my whole entire system of life sorta went nuts. I broke my arm and got sick and all, so I'll just re-join to spare anyone strife. Sound good? Yay! I like this site, and it was almost like magic when it appeared on the addy board of my game. So El is back. Yay?

Name: Alan
Gender: Male
Age:15
Looks: He's rather of medium height, with fair skin and dark red hair that could almost be black, until it hits the sun. It's earned him the nickname Black Cherry, though he'd tell no one of that. His eyes are a mischievious emerald, and he's got a mottling of freckles, too.
Personality: Alan can be serious when he wants to be, but usually his sense of humor is somewhat extensive. He likes to fix things, pull them apart and redo them, and he's rather good at it. He's also incredibly protective of his twin sister, much to her annoyance. Which doesn't mean he won't bail on her if they're dealing with small crying children that pull hair. (hehehe)

Name: Nala
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Looks: Like her brother, her height is nothing to boast about, she's sort of small and non-threateningly petite in build actually. She shares much of his physical appearance, being twins kinda does that sometimes. But her hair is different. It sweeps to her shoulders and is a remarkable firebrand of red, visible and able to be pointed out in a snow-blind blizzard. Her eyes are much the same as Alan's, dancingly mischievious green and she too has freckles, though her skin is slightly more tanned.
Personality: Nala is sentimental. That's about all to say for her. A quiet girl somewhat, she'll flare up if she feels injustice is being done, and she'll want to throw things. She loves the whole protect the weak thing, and can't understand why anyone would want to engage in fighting. She doesn't care who she stands up to, either, which has gotten her into trouble more than once.

History: Born to a woman who wasn't exactly capable of their care, they were separated at a very young age. Nala was given into the care of her uncle, and Alan was sent to live with trusted, childless friends of his mother. They knew nothing of each other until Fate intervened.

Alan, instructed to hunt during a lean winter, was caught in a blizzard and knocked completely out. He would have frozen to death, and was at the edge of it, but for the notice of a small girl bringing the livestock in from the brutal storm. Shocked, Nala tried to drag the lifeless form back to the cottage, but instead ran and got her uncle. Together they brought the boy in and warmed him up. In that weird way twins have of communicating, one look told the siblings all they needed to know about each other. Nala pleaded with her uncle, and the whole story came out. But he himself was in some limbo, having threats for his home for being in debt, so he hastily sent the two out on their own, once the weather cleared up, of course.

Since then, Nala has been under the watchful eye of her brother, and though she doesn't fret, she's not exactly thrilled with it either. She's beginning to feel the chafe of the constant togetherness, and she wants to be her own person, so she'll often try to escape his notice. Which isn't to say he's always the steadfast brother. If something's harmless enough, he'll back away slowly and let her deal with it. Isn't that what good friends are for? Siblings?
