He continued to pack up his personal items. Cam Ly was feeling hurt when Dan Truong ignored her. This is not the first time Dan Truong ignoring Cam Ly, but this time Cam Ly felt hurt inside. She didn’t know why, but Cam Ly doesn’t want Dan Truong to leave. “Stop ignoring me…..answer me would you?” almost yelling Dan Truong finally stop with what he’s doing. He looked at Cam Ly wondering why Cam Ly cared so much about him leaving. Cam Ly always tried to give Dan Truong a hard time when he was protecting her. But now….why? Why? Cam Ly doesn’t want Dan Truong to leave? This must be another game Cam Ly wanted to play. “Mr. Le fired me” Dan Truong said “He got you a new bodyguard” “Huu Minh?” Cam Ly thinking outloud Cam Ly didn’t know what else to say except watching Dan Truong packing up his stuffs. She really wanted to asked Dan Truong to stay, but she knows it’s not going to happen. “Sis Ly….brother Minh is home” PhiPhi running in the house “there’s a man with him too” Dan Truong closed his suitcase and walked over to greet Minh and the new bodyguard. Dan Truong was shocked to see the new face. The new guy is no stranger, it was Lam Truong. Now he knows what Lam Truong meant. “We met again!” Lam Truong said looking at Dan Truong “How unfortunate” Dan Truong said coldly “You two know each other?” Huu Minh asked? “Yes” Lam Truong nodded “We used to be a classmate” “I see” Huu Minh said “then Dan Truong….you want to stay here a bit more longer to talk to you long lost friend?” “No thanks” Dan Truong forced a smile “my job here is done….I need to go” “Don’t worry….I’ll take a good care of Ms. Ly” Lam Truong said staring at Dan Truong ************************************************************************ Cam Ly dragged Huu Minh into the room after Dan Truong left, leaving Lam Truong in the living room alone. “Can you tell me why you fired off Dan Truong?” “Well….you asked me too” Huu Minh said “don’t you remember?” “Me?” “Yes…you” Huu Minh said “You always wanted me to fire him, but I have no excuse to let him go. He failed at protecting you yesterday so now is the good chance for us to fire him off” “But it’s not his fault. If I didn’t sneak out of the house with PhiPhi then the shooting never took place. As a matter of fact, you should reward him for catching the bullet for me on that day” “Reward him?” Huu Minh surprised “but didn’t you want him to leave?” “In the past…yes, but now…no” Cam Ly said “I want him to stay now” “Sweetheart….I can’t do that. If I hire him back then what am I going to do with the new guy?” “I don’t care what you going to do with him. I don’t like him. I want Dan Truong to protect me now” “When Dan Truong first came here….you said you don’t like him and now you tell me that you don’t want him to go….is there something going on between you and him that I should know of?” “What are you saying?” Cam Ly stared at Minh Huu “You don’t trust me?” “I didn’t mean to say that. I just……” “There’s nothing going on between us” Cam Ly said w/ finality Yes, there’s nothing going on between Dan Truong and Cam Ly. Is it? Cam Ly questioned herself. If it’s true then why she cared so much about not being able to see Dan Truong everyday? What? What is it about this man that make Cam Ly thinks that she’s incompleted w/out him. She never had this feeling for Huu Minh before. Is this what you called “love”? But Cam Ly loves Huu Minh….right? Yes…Cam Ly loves Huu Minh!! Cam Ly loves Huu Minh. Cam Ly in love with Huu Minh. What is she doing? She’s reminding herself that she loves Huu Minh. But true love doesn’t need to be reminded. Now, Cam Ly started questioning herself to see if she truly in love w/ Huu Minh or not.
