“Come on Dan Truong… come on… this is the last one… you have been doin really good… So STAY that way… and shot that damp bottle down.”
Cam Ly was saying it over and over again; only load enough for the both of them to hear. Dan Truong fully concentrated on what he was doin. “Come on Truong, you can do this… TELL the world that you are NOT a loser singer, you can do more things then just singing, TELL Cam Ly that she means a LOT to you by shotting the BOTLLE DOWN, Come on… do this for her… do this for her….” The bullet let out but the bottle was still standing there like it didn’t hear a WORD that Dan Truong was saying, it didn’t move an inch. Dan Truong by now was disappointed, but he has got 1 BULLET LEFT, and he’s planing to GET THAT BEAR for what ever it takes. Cam Ly was holding on to Dan Truong’s hand tied, as if she scared if she was to let it goes, then they will lose. Her big eyes was looking at Dan Truong and then at the bottle, Dan Truong smile at her, the smile is like saying “Don’t worry, I will get that bear for you” Dan Truong then close his eyes and aim for the bottle. As soon as the bullet let out, Cam Ly holds her breath, close her eyes…. She wasn’t daring to look. Cam Ly heard people screaming with joy and there was silence. Cam Ly slowly decided it was time to open her eyes, so she open it slowly, When her eyes was fully open, only found Dan Truong standing there smiling with the BIG TEDDY BEAR. Cam Ly was too happy to think, she jump off her two feet, hug Dan Truong tied, and scream…
“AAAAAAAAAAA…. Oh Dan Truong… you are the BEST…”
Dan Truong was surprise by her reaction, when Cam Ly realise what she did, she went red as a tomatoes, and they both turn away with a smile. The day went on with laughter and fun, as the two of them have finally closed the distance from the beginning.
The next morning Cam Ly got up and get ready for school. God knows just how much she hate Monday morning. She walk out of her room with a very happy feeling, she have that smile on her face ever since last night Dan Truong drop her off at home. She still remembers what he said at the doorstep. “Flash back”
“So, is there any chance of a second time like today?”
“Maybe”
“What do you mean maybe?”
“Well, that still depends on how you treats me…ehehehe”
“Ly, I…. Can I… I mean… I just… I… want….”
“Huh?”
“Ly, I just want to ask if…. If…”
“Yeah?”
“If… you did have fun today?”
“Yeah... Off course….”
“Ok... That’s good…. Well I think I better be off now….”
“Ok… see ya….”
“End Flash back”
Cam Ly walk to the dinning tables to have breakfast as usual, her dad is reading the newspaper and he doesn’t look too happy about it. Her mom stay silence, Cam Ly was like “Hold on, what happen today in my house… normally mom and dad talks and very happy in the morning, why are they so quite, and the silence… it not a very nice silence…. OK… something weird is happening here and I don’t know about it…”
CL: Mom, is something wrong?
Mrs Tran: Where did you go yesterday?
CL: (She was shock, so this silence got something to do with her goin out yesterday) Oh… I went to the “Dream Park” with a friend
Mr Tran by now was very angry; he throws the newspaper in Cam Ly’s face and the pictures of Cam Ly hugging Dan Truong after he got her the bear Flash right in her face. It was enlarge to the size of the Newspaper with the headline “Our Prince Dan Truong has got a Fan to be his Princess” Cam Ly jump off her two feet in shock.
CL: Mom dad, I can explain this…. just let me explain it OK…I….
Mr Tran: HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US CAM LY? We are a REPUTATION family with respect from everyone, NOW HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO FACE PEOPLE?
CL: Dad, I didn’t DO ANYTHING WRONG
Mr Tran: Yeah then how do you explain that….
CL: I will if you just LET ME
Mr Tran: Talk
CL: Dan Truong rang; ask to go out for a cup of coffee, so I did. Then we went to “Dream Park” He win me a teddy bear… the white one, I was over joy and was too happy to think, so I just hug him to say thank you… that is all…
Mr Tran: YOU HUG HIM TO SAY THANK YOU? Cam Ly, Don’t put your self as low as other to do such thing. HE’S A SINGER FOR GOD SAKE… He doesn’t care who you are… he only care for the fun he have that one particular day, Now you listen to me, FROM NOW ON, I DO NOT ALLOWED YOU TO SEE HIM ANYMORE… IS THAT UNDERSTOOD?
CL: But Dad…
Mr Tran: NO But Cam Ly, I had it enough… Is that understood?
CL: Yes father…
