My Only TULIP
Dan Truong – A lawyer with much respect, high-class family. Well know through out Saigon. He parents is one of the richest family in the city not to mention that his brother has one of the biggest company of export and import of goods. He is kind, sweet, loving, listen to his parent and a very good boy. He was look down as the little precious thing in the family because he was the littlest one there.
Cam Ly – an other rich family in Saigon, very cute and beautiful, many guys have line up for her to be their girlfriend but none of them was the right one for her. She hates all those rich and formal party that her parents held nearly once every week..... for more information... She LOVE TULIPS.........

"Oh dear, oh dear…. mum is goinna kill me, I am late again. Gosh why do I always have to go to this kind of party when I don’t even like all those people there? All people talks about is how much money they have and their sons and daughter of them none stop talking about how good-looking they are been all self obsess. I really don’t like them. Uh Oh…. time to handle the screaming again, here I go…"
“Cam Ly, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN YOUNG LADY, did you know that the guess would be here shortly. And look at you…. you are not even dress yet…Go to your room NOW”
“Yes mom”
“May….” Cam Ly’s mom calling one of the maid in the house.
“Yes madam”
“Help mistress get dress, and make sure she look like a lady OK, make her wear the dress that I brought for her today oh and do something to her hair, that girl she always let it go every where…does not look sophisticated at all.”
“Yes mam”
With that the maid ran up to her little mistress room and help her to get dress. Cam Ly was siting in front of the mirror with out any interest, both of her hands was on her chin. As the maid enter, she did not bother to look up and said.
“Here I am, do what ever you wants”
“Oh mistress, you have to go and take a shower first, you don’t smell good at all. Come on go in the shower, I will bring you the clothes OK.”
Like a punishment, Cam Ly went to the shower, as she have show no interest whatsoever. An hour later, as the maid brush Cam Ly’s hair, she said:
“Mistress, if you taken more care with your hair I think that you will be a very beautiful lady, you have such a beautiful hair”
“Oh really, but I don’t like this kind of stuff, specially wearing dress, they are so uncomfortable. Jeans are the best method for me.”
As Cam Ly was about to said more, sudden there was someone knocking on the door:
“Cam Ly, are you done sweet heart”
Jump up with joy, she ran straight to the door:
“Daddy, you are back…do I get any present”
“Off course sweetie, you are my only princess and how can I forget my only princess dear…. But are you nearly done yet, your mommy is goin out of her mind down there.”
“Daddy, why do I have to go to these kind of party all the time, I don’t like it daddy”
“My darling girl, you are now nearly 20 years old and yet you still act like a 12 years old girl. That is what I love about you, today is Valentine’s Day and it a mask party so you have to put on this mask OK dear.”
“Oh daddy, this is a real punishment, why can’t I just go out with Minh Tuyet instead.”
Cam Ly took the silver mask from her father, which decorates with real white gold and diamond with out any interest. Mr. Tran love Cam Ly a lot, since he only have her but even so she is just the precious thing in his life. He doesn’t mind how much money he have to spend on her, but he always wonder when will his little precious princess grown up because as it seems right now she is goinna take a very long time. He like it to stay like this so Cam Ly doesn’t have to feel all the pain of life and doesn’t have to go through it. The thought of his daughter suffer has never appears to him even once, she just his little sunshine that never stop smiling. Give his little daughter a kiss on her forehead and ask:
“Ready to go dear?”
“Yes daddy”
Mr. Tran walk down first, followed by was Cam Ly in her beautiful white garment and the mask. Everyone turn their attention to the girl who is walking behind Mr. Tran. They all know that she is the treasure of the Tran’s family. All night people would come up to her for a talk, just to be polite she answer their question but never once did she take her mask off. Boys would line up to ask her dance, but little did they know she does not know how to so she refuses all of them. As the night goes on, it was getting more and more boring for Cam Ly so she decide it time for her to get out of this place. Slowly she sneak out to her backyard, breathing of the fresh air and freedom from all those rich people. Finally now she can be her self, do whatever as she wish and act in anyway that she wants. Hold up her long dress in the right and her hills on the left hand side, she walk straight to her tree house. Her mom always complain as to why Cam Ly always in that tree house of her, but she never know that in that tree house Cam Ly have everything she need, she could just live in there for ever. As she claims up the stares of the trees, she notice that some one was in her tree house, as soon as she was there, she yells:
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIN HERE?”
“Huh”
“What are you doin in my tree house?”
“Oh is this your, I am sorry, I was just taking a break”
“Taking a break?”
Inside she was thinking to herself, there is a lot of other place in that house that he can “take a break” why does it have to be in her “HOUSE” With out saying anything, she said:
“GET THE HELL OUT”
“Ow…cool down lady”
As he was about to get out of her tree house, something suddenly come across his mind:
“Hey, how am I suppose to know if it’s your or not”
“DUDE… this is my house so off course the tree house is mind, are you out of your little brain already, now GET OUT .”
“Would you mind taking that mask off”
“Yes I do mind and I am not goin to, unless you get the heck out of here”
“Can I at least know your name?”
“Huh?”
Oh…so he doesn’t know who she is, oh in that case I think he can stay, by the look from the little hole in this mask, he’s kindda cute. It wouldn’t hurt if I just tell him my name huh? And then I can ask for his…. Oh what am I think? This is a total straighter for heaven sake. She can hear his voice again:
“Can we at least be friend?”
“Why?”
“Because I wanna be friend”
“What’s your name?”
“NO I ask you first?”
“Fine, don’t tell me then GET OUT”
“Ok OK…. I will tell ya, it Dan Truong, now what is you?”
“Cam Ly”
“Nice name, hey un you the….”
“Yes I am, the treasure of this family, the most icy person of all time and the most richest kids in Saigon, anything else new?”
“Yeah, I don’t think you are like that at all”
“HUH?”
“I mean you don’t seems like an icy cold person right now, and you don’t act like one of the richest girl in the city, and all”
“Oh thanks.”
“you welcome”
“So what about you?”
“What about me?”
“Like who is your parents, and most importantly, what are you doin here?”
“Oh, my dad’s is Mr. Pham, I am here because I couldn’t stand the people in there anymore”
“Oh me too…. ehehehe”
“So would you mind take off that mask now”
“Oh…ooopsss…Sowy…I almost forgot”
As she takes off the mask, Dan Truong’s eyes grown bigger and bigger. He was amaze with the beauty in front of him. She was beautiful, just like a little angel, her eyes always seems to be smiling. Oh how could god ever create a masterpiece like this, she was just too good to be truth. Cam Ly took his heart straight away; he just sat there and stares at her. Cam Ly have no ideas of what she has done to him and have no ideas of why he was staring at her like that, so her stare at him back. With no intention offcourse but that make Dan Truong’s heart go wonder. Finally she couldn’t take it anymore, she wave her hand in front of him:
“Earth to Dan Truong, Earth to Dan Truong”
“Huh?”
“What the hell is wrong with you? You have been sitting there and stare at me for the last 10 mins”
“Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable”
And that was how they meet, the little innocent Cam Ly have no ideas of what was happening in Dan Truong’s heart. Both of them soon becomes friend, with Dan Truong put in most of the effort.
