The fly from New York to Ho Chi Minh city has landed on the Tan Son Nhat airport. Cam Ly and her mother was waiting for a taxi. Cam Ly has left Viet Nam ever since she was young, but the moment she her two feet was on the land of Vietnam she feel that this is where she belong and this is what she have been waiting for , she did not regret one bits for coming back here. They were every poor when they left the country but now, as they come back life have change for them totally. They are not rich, but not as poor as before either. They got to the bus stop to catch the next bus that will take them to their home town, Quy Nhon (you do know that this is where Cam Ly was born in real life right?). This is where Cam Ly was brought up with her little child hood friend that till now she still remember “Bo”….she said to her self:
“Oh I wonder if he is still around? If so would he remember me? I miss him so much, he was my best friend and will always be my best friend….. I wonder how tall or how skinny he is, I mean most of the Vietnamese people are really skinny. Erh… but what if he is fat and ugly, Oh no…. I can image him been ugly at all, I think he was pretty cute the last time I saw him…Oh well, I just have to wait and see”
Mrs. Tran: Ut a`…con dang nghi~ to*'i cai' gi` do', me. noi' gi` con co' nghe hay kho^ng ha?
CL: D.a..... d.a mom, mom noi' cai' gi` va^y ha? Sorry mom, con kho^ng co' nghe....
Mrs. Tran: Con pha?i co^' g(a'ng kho^ng du*o*.c no'i tie^'ng Anh nu*~a nghe kho^ng, mi`nh da~ ve^` nu*o*'c cu?a mi`nh ro^`i thi` pha?i no'i tie^'ng nu*o*'c cu?a mi`nh, Tie^'ng nu*o*'c ngu*o*`i con ha?y cho no' va`o que^n la~ng di con
CL: D.a….con sorry mom… y' lo^.n….Con xin lo^~i me.…….
Mrs. Tran: Gio?i do'…… Me. dang nh(a'c con to*'i cha con cu?a th(a`ng Bo do' ma`…… kho^ng bie^'t ho. ra sao ro^`i nu*~a……
CL: Bo? Anh Bo do' ha? me.?
Mrs. Tran: Cho*' co`n ai nu*~a…..
CL: ehehehe…. La`m sao con bie^'t du*o*.c ha? me., tho^i mi`nh le^n xe di me oi……
With out realization that there old friend are just right behind them, excepted they wasn’t catching a bus, they were in the own car….goin back home as well. Mr. Pham said to his son.
Mr. Pham: Bo con, la^`n na`y mi`nh ve^` th(am que^ nha` la` vi` ba kho^ng co' muo^'n con que^n nhu*~ng gi` da~ nuo^i con de^'n nga`y ho^m nay, nhu*ng va`i nga`y tho^i ro^`i con pha?i tro*? la.i Saigon vi` ba da~ co' chua^~n bi. mo^.t Co^ng Ty cho con la`m ro^`i…… Co^' g(a'ng ma` cha^m lo cho ca'i Co^ng Ty do' nha con, la` co^ng su*'c cu?a hai cha con mi`nh ba^'y la^u nay do'…. Ro^`i con pha?i nha^.p hoc nu*~a cho*'…..
Bo: Dad, con da~ lo*'n ro^`i va^.y ma` dad cu*' go.i con la` Bo hoa`i va^.y ha? Que^ che't di dad o*i
Mr. Pham: U*`a thi` ba que^n, co`n nu*~a…. Ve^ VN thi` no'i tie^'ng Vie^.t di con….. ro? chu*a

Mr. Pham: Ba kho^ng bie^'t me. con con U't ra sao ro^`i, da~ la^u ro^`i kho^ng g(a.p….. ma` cu~ng kho^ng bie^'t la` ho. da~ to*'i da^u ve^` da^u nu*~a……
Bo: U't…La^`n tru*o*'c mi`nh ve^` ti`m ma` da^u co' g(ap da^u pha?i kho^ng Ba? Con cu~ng nho*' U't nhie^`u la'm….. nho*' ca? Ba` Nam nu*~a (Ba Nam is Ut’s mother, that is the way Bo address her as)
Mr. Pham: ch(a'c la` ho. cu~ng da~ di nu*o*'c ngoa`i ro^`i ma` mi`nh kho^ng co' g(ap tho^i, thie^.t la` vo^ duye^n vo*'i nhau qua'…….
The journal went on, and soon that night both the father and the son reach to there destination, they brought a home there two years ago and hired people to look after it because Mr. Pham always like to go back to this little country land of his. They got there earlier them Cam Ly and her mother because they have got their own car where as for Cam Ly and her mother, they both has to go by bus, so they won get home till the next early morning. Before go back to Viet nam Mrs. Tran has contact her friend to ask her to buy them a house, and so as soon as they got off the bus they catch and taxi straight to their new home (I know there is no taxi in the country side, but I wrote it so that it more easier for you people to understand….ehehehe) Cam Ly love the house straight away. It was a very simple house but yet friendly and cute, it bring a warn feeling to CamLy's heart…… Because Mrs. Tran has ask for the house to have three room, one special Alec and Vicki just in case they want to come for a visit.
CL: Mom, I LOVE THIS HOUSE
Mrs. Tran: Cam Ly…. (frown)
CL: Oh Xin lo^~i me.…. Con que^n…. La^`n sau kho^ng da'm nu*~a….ehehehe…. Con thi'ch ca'i nha` na`y l(a'm do' me. o*i…..
Mrs. Tran: Va^.y thi` to^'t ro^`i…… con di coi thu*? xem mi`nh co' ca^`n do.n de.p gi` kho^ng? Hay la` con di coi pho`ng cu?a con di…….
CL: Du*o*.c ro^`i me o*i…..
