I was discussing a show about mary magdeline at work and It said jesus may have been in love with her. A UBF disciple at work freaked out and yelled "jesus only came to die!". To say the least I was shocked by this statement from a otherwise mild manner person.
My question is, I work with a whole bunch of these UBF Korean people. I was born here in the U.S. and raised Lutheran. I find these people quite strange. They seem to only stick together. I do not know if they live their faith 24/7 or maybe it is something cultural. All that I know it is weird and unfair. It is also creepy. Is there a way that that I can keep them out of my business, and I can go to work everyday and not feel creeped out by their strange passion for god. I do not want to quit, but they are pressuring me out the door with thier "Christian love".
Please help me understand these people and their mindset. This is not the first time I have felt weirded out by these people. I want to like them and be liked by them but I feel since I am an alien race of European heritage, that I do not count in them in their plans for total domination.
