In order for prevent favoritism and future persecution of the already established churches freedom comes at a cost of even allowing cults to share in the priveldges of a society as long as they stay within legal parameters established for all.

As much as I would really like to run all cults out of the US. It will never happen unless I am willing to allow the government to come after my own religion. Therefore allowing cults to share in some of my religions previldeges is a compromise. Here in the US, some call ordinary christians a cult, and fanatics. Where does one draw the line. Perhaps in Germany where the government is not afraid of religion as the US goverenment is, you can establish a review board of some kind to determine normal verse abnormal, abusive vs nonabusive. But again that is hard to due and may in the future be harmful to the good churches.

America is known as the land of Freedom and everyday someone is testing that freedom. Some hate the freedom given to woman to abort their children yet must have the freedom to have a gun. And vice versa. I've seen liberals talk about how a woman has the right to chose but owning guns is a cardinal sin. I personally think you should either allow true freedom to do both or not to do both. Where is the freedome if you take away rights? Where is the freedom to make a mistake? What the world really needs absolute freedom coinciding with a biblical foundation in God in the hearts of it's people. Care from parents to ensure that their children are not being brainwashed. This world is not going to get better, until the hearts of men are changed.

Watch out for their are many deceivers in the world and the only way to stop them is to love one another.
