Wait a minute. I thought there were only supposed to be 144,000 JWs.

They modified their teachings when they recognized they were already more than 144,000. Now they have a two-class system. The elite class, the really good JW's (leaders etc.) are the 144,000, the rest are "the great crowd" (see here).

I'm sure it's much more than 10 or 15 former JWs that "say something like that."

It's already much more than 10 or 15 dropouts who have written whole books about these problems. By the way, some of these books are very commandable also for UBF members. You will immediately see some parallels.
