Also, I gathered from the posts that these kids are aggressive.
Maybe a little background information is needed to understand some of these 2nd gen COG postings.
One 2nd gen had left the COG, who had been very close to the cult leader and one of the top guys there. After his leaving, he became very confused and aggressive, trying to cope with the past that included sexual abuse that was usual in the group at that time. Recently, he took a gun, drove to the house of a woman who was involved with the abuse, killed her, and killed himself afterwards.
Now this incident is of course completely differently interpreted by COG 2nd gens and critics. The COG 2nd gens say that the critics, who are "full of hatred" have confused him and incited him to do that terrible thing. With this argument they claim that COG should not be criticized, because it could "confuse" more people and make them aggressive. On the other side, the critics see it as a confirmation how much the COG has hurt and mixed up its members that they are able to do such a deed.
