Subject: Differences

Dear Reader's;

I know that the subject has been brought up before, but I noticed in the Hymn thread that the topic came to light again. I just want to see in what other ways this has been applied besides music....DIFFERENCES

In other words, a UBF chapter leader in Germany has said that "our chapter is different than Chicago". Or UBF (USA) leader's might contend (even now in 2005) that their individual chapters are more relaxed than Chicago, or even more "graceful", "spiritual" whatever.

What gets me puzzled is that regardless of how "different" each chapter perceives themselves to be; their blatent support of the Chicago chapter remains the same. No sin is condemed, no repentance is required, no apologies are required.

UBF claims to support the "body of Christ", but they isolate themselves from the outside world...from other churches and even from each other. They pick and choose which pieces of Samuel Lee's direction they want to imitate, thinking they are "leaving the old ways behind". They believe (OR AT LEAST CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE) that the new generation of UBF is improved.

I know I must be dreaming, it is 2005 and the UBF motto is the same: trying to HIDE: sin, identity, honesty and REPENTANCE.

Have I missed something?

Have a good weekend

Des
