Yes I made a lengthy reply and explained in detail why we have the netiquette we have. However, you didn't reply to any of my arguments and explanations. You didn't refute any of them. Instead you made these weird and digressive speculations about me. I'd prefer you simply reply and respond to arguments and refute my concrete statements. I don't like a discussion style of simply ignoring arguments and questions, neatly sidestepping what has been said. It's this kind of (non-)discussion that already clutters the board too much. I'm starting to ask myself, why should I bother to write explanations if you aren't responsive to it anyway?
And I know I have to fear you again believe this is a personal attack against you or a breach of our friendship or something, and be offended. Anyway, I think a friend is only a friend if he sometimes challenges and rebukes his friend. Since you wrote publicly, so you got a public answer.
