Ok, just to end the debate, since nobody suggested a better term, I will use the term "mind control" from now on as a general and superordinate term for these kind of tactics. Also, I won't enter into a debate about that issue any more. It's obvious that there is a certain set of strategies used by cults in order to influence the way of thinking of their members, which are similar in all cults and can be summarized by the BITE model or by Lifton's Model. We can see how effective these strategies are if we simply have a look at the mass of cults that exist, and if you analyze them we will always find an underlying program similar to the models mentioned above. Also, I have the first-hand experience of ten years UBF. I saw it working. So for me it's ridiculous to dispute the existence and effectiveness of this common program used by cults and I won't condescend to a discussioin on that level any more. I recommend all those who still want to deny the existence of mind control to study the mass of literature on cults. You can take cults that even UBF would agree to be cults. And I also recommend simply making a reality check. I think we only are making fools of ourselves if we try to vindicate things which are obvious.
