Mike, this is an excellent point and it can be a stumbling block to hurting Christians. They focus on their spiritual life so much that they neglect their basic health. Then their spiritual life becomes even more of a burden because they are so burnt out and can't think straight.
To the "Disagree" Person. What practices of "secular" psyciatrists do you think are inappropriate for Christians. I have had experience with dozens of mental health professionals, some of them Christians some not. I have never thought that they suggested anything inappropriate for a Christian.
