Mike,
I have never heard of this "phenomenon" called fundamentalism. We can call UBF many things, but not fundamentalist. Perhaps your expanding the definition of fundamentalist. The traditional definition of fundamentalist is someone who believes in the fundamentals of scripture. In America, traditionally most protestant Christians are called fundamentalist. The atheist, socialst left in America use it to slur us, but most Christians in America are proud to be called fundamentalist. But again, we may have different definitions of the term
>They say the merely obey the Bible, but if you really
>would obey, from heart, why first twist things until
>they fit your world view? This is what I'd call "lip
>service", and this is exactly what the Pharisees did
>do: make their own statutes and then use the
>Scriptures to justify their practices, instead of
>adjust themselves at the hand of the Scriptures.
