Hi,

Wow now I am totally confused. Usually I can figure out somewhat the situations people are talking about. But this one has got me. A red head married to a nice Chinese man? The asian friend. Early 90's UIC UBF? SH? Wow i can't piece this one together. Anyway my biggest thing about leaving UBF was that i felt so alone. Everyone i knew was in UBF so when i left i had no one.

I remember going for a promotion at work and then realizing I had no references because all my friends were UBF people who now i had no contact with. When I moved i had no one to help because all my so called friends were from UBF and now i had none. That was the hardest part for me. I basically had to start life all over from making new friends to new business contacts to everything. But i never felt guilty about it or felt like i was leaving God because i new i wasn't. I was leaving UBF not God. As i told my closest friend in UBF when he tried to say that i was leaving God, I told him UBF is not God, UBF is not a religion, God exists above and beyond UBF. I am leaving UBF not God.
