A few years ago when I still was fairly fresh out of UBF, I'd be bold to proclaim "UBF must be destroyed, it has brought shame on the name of Christ and is babylonian in nature"... I wouldn't make the same claim today.

While yes indeed the foundation of UBF is not Christ our Lord but confucianism and the teachings and person of Samuel Lee ... I am quite certain that UBF is not "generally worse" than any other church, only in the special aspect that they refuse to admit errors and allow change. As we see in Revelation, nearly all of the 7 churches had problems ranging from idol worship to lukewarmness - but the Lord didn't forsake them. Yet, He called them to repent, even gave them His promise.

Maybe if UBF would merely listen to this voice of the Lord, then the unfathomable might happen, but I am afraid it simply is too much to ask - for 30 years, the hearts of the UBF leadership have been hardened, but miracles are possible.

But for now, we must continue to challenge them unto repentance, as far as the Lord burdens us.
In the end, it's up to God Himself to decide whether UBF needs to be dismantled or merely to repent, reform, confess...
