Mike is talking about his former chapter, Bonn (Germany), led by the notorious M. Dr. Peter Chang. A lot of things happened and still happen in Bonn which are unbelievable and do not seem to make sense. More information about Bonn UBF are available here. Be warned before reading. It may shake your view about UBF.

Another related problem that I experienced was that a German UBF chapter leader knew clearly about the homosexual affections of the 30 year old shepherd who was considered the "Abraham of faith." Instead giving him proper counseling, he "cured" him by marrying him off to a 19 year old girl from a different chapter, and neither the leader nor the shepherd spoke with her about that problem before the marriage. She told me that she found out only later when she was already married, but another insider told me the problem was well-known to the leader before marriage. Of course, the marriage was a horror trip, because of this and because of many other reasons. When the girl was so disappointed that she wanted to leave UBF (but not her husband, because she took God's commands about divorce serious), the marriage was divorced by the shepherd, absolutely obeying a command of el supremo Lee, and it was annulled by Ms. Barry (with the official argument that there was no sexual intercourse). Then the shepherd was remarried to another girl in UBF, again by order of el supremo, again without telling her about the problem. Of course, I will not reveal the names here, but I am talking about this so others may be warned before blindly entering a leader arranged marriage. In another well documented case, a girl was married off to an alcoholic. The leaders don't care, if a marriage fails, they blame the two, they never take the responsibility. And they believe people can be "cured" by simply making them "shepherds" and marrying them off to somebody (of course not their own children).
