Queenie, please understand us correctly. We appreciate every effort to boost talks among UBF members and ex members. I am just saying that it will not work that way with another web board. It is not your fault. I wished it would be different. But alas, UBF is a cult, its members are highly indoctrinated. Since 4 years we tried to have open discussions with them, but it's simply not possible. You are too blue eyed about UBF.

Anyway, you are encouraged and invited to participate in the discussions on this board and help improve it. I think Tom was a little bit too rude with you. Maybe it was because you simply popped up without introducing yourself, that he was sceptical about you.

Maybe your effort can give us positive and fresh ideas for this board. I think one advantage of your board was that it allowed several sub-boards. I would not make such extensive use of them as you did, but on the other hand I see that one board alone - as this one - is sometimes also not good. This was the reason why "truth seeker" started the off topic board. Maybe we should switch to a forum like yours; I would like to see a structure like this one:

- UBF issue discussions (main board)
- Bible study
- "Off topic"
- German/Russian/Korean/... talk
- Archive (Attic)

Also, there should be no striking banner ads like in most of the free forums.

And the whole thing should be moderated by a team of experienced Christians who have good background knowledge of UBF and wisdom how to deal with trolls and other negative phenomena.
