Subject: Simple question
In reply to: Brian Karcher 's message, "Re: UBF Doctrine" on 01:12:06 10/10/04 Sun

a.) You say that UBF teaches "you can lose your salvation" and that losing your salvation is related to disobeying your shepherd. In regard to losing your salvation by disobeying your shepherd, I do not adhere to this in any way, nor have I ever heard this taught or spoken in our ministry.

One certain UBF chapter director said very bluntly to the attendants of a "coworker's meeting": "If you don't manage to get 12 1:1 Bible studies a week, you will go to hell."
Do you think that such a chapter leader is teaching something wrong? Why is he allowed to continue to teach such things if this is not UBF's stand on such an issue? Why does no one bother to correct him (I mean: Sarah Barry or such, because he feels no need to accept criticism from anyone in a lower rank than himself).

My question touches another problem: why does UBF have *chapter leaders* who are not willing to submit to "one another" but only towards those higher in the hierarchy?

Sincerely,
Mike K.
