It's also interesting to look at the context of Galatians 4:14. In verses 13-14, Paul writes, As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you. Even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself.

Well, this verse is indeed interesting.
First of all, if you read this verse closely, first of all, it's not talking about "absolute obedience", but about "not treating with contempt or scorn".
To "not treat another person with contempt or scorn" (i.e. respect) a person and to "absolutely obey even against the conscience" to a person is a bit different.
If so, I would ask the counter-question:
in UBF, is it normal to treat everybody with contempt to whom you do not absolutely obey?
It tells us something about the biblical principle of "loving thine enemy". There's no love for the "enemy", only contempt and scorn, right?

And then we come to the second part: welcoming is equalized to "absolutely obeying to". Which, of course, implies that I never had a welcoming in UBF, since nobody absolutely obeyed me.
I'm glad that I got out of an organization which never welcomed me anyway.

Then, we come to the third part: "an angel of God" is equalized to a "spiritual leader". If you do, however, read 1Cor6 closely, you would realize that angels are not leaders, but below human beings in the order of creation. Why should we absolutely obey to someone whom we will judge?
If it were so, then in the end, we would judge our own actions, which means that Christ would not be the Great Judge, but we ourselves. With this, each and every action could be justified in the end.
We would not need Christ's all-inclusive redeeming death.

One quote, three aberrational teachings, UBF is topping themselves, woot!
