Certainly there is no lack of words or explanations regarding these things. But where is a sound, Scriptural writing? I am not persuaded by the words of men. The words of God tell me that the basic UBF teachings are sound and that shepherding is in line with what Jesus taught.

Let's not get confused. There are Korean thoughts and practices that do influence UBF practices. However, I've seen over and over that when scriptures are believed and obeyed, the Korean influence is not harmful. Actually, I welcome this influence, as it is a breath of fresh air in American Christianity. I would also note that there is a German, Russian and South American influence, and many other cultural influences in UBF.

Brian.
