The culture of UBF encourages much boasting, much pride, much self-aggrandizement and exaggeration of people and their accomplishments ("Ph.D. Shepherd Doctor Professor..."), which probably contributes to the sheep's submitting fully to the SOT program.

One of the focal points of criticism I had with UBF Bonn was this title thing.
Those titles encite the flesh, they have no spiritual reality, much less when they aren't earned but bought!

Even the title "Pastor" is already overboard: the Lord said He is everything, and we are merely Brothers and Sisters and ought to call one another likewise.
This is one of the many places where UBF practice is in stark contrast to the revelation of the Bible, but rather than accept the Bible's words - they justify their scheme with some "spiritual order".
