Many missionaries are tourist missionaries. They claim they are missionaries because they traveled to a certain country.

This makes me laugh.
Peter Chang from Bonn called local UBF members who went to a trip to Kiev, or even to the MSU in Chicago to be "short-term missionaries".
Even though these "short-term missionaries" neither had a mission purpose, and in some cases they weren't even capable of speaking the language of the country they went to.
They entered the hospitable UBF chapter and participated there as though they were still at home.
But let's call them "missionaries" and at the same time go on a bashing tour against people who maybe go to Iraq to preach the Gospel under risk of death penatly...
Oh the irony, UBF does exactly what they accuse "degraded Christians" of supposedly doing, and they even take pride in it.
What a shame!
