Seems that the recent UBF defenders have simply repeated the same claims that had been made in this unspeakable "media statement".

Interesting is the passage where it says. "We sin. But we try to live by faith..." You would expect that it says "We sin. But we repent when we sinned and make every effort that the same sin will not happen again." But no. We sin. Fullstop. But we try to live by faith (so our sin justified). Then, after admitting they sinned, they call those who criticize these sins "persecutors" and compare themselves with early Christian martyrs and Billy Graham. It's only disgusting. The whole statement is disgusting from the beginning to the end. The statement does not even mention the reform attempts with one word. Shame on these corrupt people.
