A faded red T-shirt is on him, a new red sun visor perched on the top of his head. He nods to the little girl, smiling. He sees the medication and the note, then gets on one knee to read it. The poor kid, he thinks, then takes her hand.|\|

"Hello, Gally. My name's Chance. I live around here. For my work I'm soon going to be a police officer, and I'm currently working on a huge horse stable. If they let me, I'd love to be your father. You wouldn't have a mom, but we could find one."
