Past: Melissa lived with her two parents, Norman and Christina Motley. But at the tender age of five, Norman and Christina divorced. Norman married a woman named Deirdre(Deedee)Koribanick, who took Normans name, and became Deirdre Motley and Christina married a man named Walter Isaacson, took his name, and became Christina Isaacson. Melissa lived with her mother and stepfather, untill about a year later, Christina died of breast cancer. Melissa then moved in to live with Norman and Deedee, untill about a year later, when Norman died in a car accident. Divorce court did not knwow hat to do with 7-year-old Melissa, so, to not tramuatize her any more, she stayed with Deedee, and her new husband, Devin. As time went on, Devin started to get hooked on alchohol, and do drugs. He abused Melissa and Deedee very badly. Things began to get even worse, so for poor 8-year-old Melissa's safety went to live with Dedee's best friend, Amy. Later she found out that Deedee was beaten to death on that night she went to live with Amy. She wept bitter tears, she loved Deedee as much as she did Christina. But after only a year at Amy's, she was sent to a foster center, because Amy could not afford Melissa. She lived a painful six months at that foster center, and she learned to depend completely on herself. Just about when she turned 8 and a half, a couple, George and Maria Baugh decided to take her in. They had two children, Dana and Anthony, and all four of them loved her so. Six months later, Maria and George were just about to adopt her, but Maria tragicaly died in a fire at the school she worked at as a 6th grade teacher, along with two other teachers and three students. George's mother, Isabel Baugh, invited George, Dana, and Anothny to live with her, but didn't want Melissa. So, Melissa was sent to the foster center again, where she spent a grueling year at. Then, Evan and Jessica Narcisse ttok 10-year-old Melissa in. They had three children, Noelle, Kimberly, and James. They all loved Melissa. A year later, Evan and Jessica were just about to adopt her also. But suddenly, Evan died in a banks hootout, when he tried to disarm the bank robbers and save all of he bank. Jessica's father, Stan Meehan, invited Jessica, Noelle, Kimberly, and JAmes to lvie with him, but yet again, not Melissa. Jessica heard of here, and she sent Melissa here and that's how she came to be here.
