Half-unnerved by the Lavanian's grin, he too rises, with a silent look to Ayrist. Be wary of this one, it says, all explained in one poignant glance of the pale orbs. "Down to the forest?" he asks the two females, Ayrist and Kaidi, one his friend and one who he suspects is more bodyguard material than close companion - though by Ghrayu that would change come the end of this foray into Lavanian danger. Ears forceably perked up, whiskers forceably flared in an attempt at amiability, he rises gracelessly, all long limbs and long tail and skinniness. All tans are lean and light-weight, but Akartis more than most, a reflection on his personality and past, perhaps. Glinting his blade again, he peers over the green- and grey-leafed forest spread out below them like a living carpet. "Too bad we can't just walk on the treetops," he mutters, half to himself.
