YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT YOUR DAUGHTER, WHOM I CARED FOR, DIED. YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT YOU AND SCAR FOUGHT. IF I WAS THERE, I SHURLEY WOULD HAVE RIPPED HIS JUGULAR VEIN RIGHT THROUGH HIS FLESH. BUT I WAS GONE AND I AM TRYING TO SAY SORRY FOR THIS AND THAT I WAS NOT THERE! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OLD TFD THAT I KNEW AND THAT MY DAUGHTER ADORED? SHE ASKS ABOUT YOU AND COLLIE AND CHANDA EVERY DAY. AND SHE WANTED TO COME WITH ME, BUT I LEFT HER IN TEROLE WITH A FRIEND OF HER'S. He snarls again. AND THE WAR... OH, I WISH THAT I WAS THERE TO DEFEND TEROLE AND ALL OF YOU. BUT I WASN'T. AT LEAST I CAN ADMIT THAT! He tosses his head and slowly moves away from the giant cubs. He jumps in a tree and glares at TFD from the covering leaves.
