I've read that there have been racial name-calling, cross burning and rock throwing during the past week, all because Obama won the election. It doesn't make sense to me at all.

It's almost like the Old South is raising some Rebels who don't like ANYONE to get a chance to get ahead or to change with the times. I've been insulted a few times in my life for being Hispanic, but nothing like this deliberate hate.

People will need time to get used to Obama as being our President, but they will have to come to terms with their own problems about why they don't want to accept him. I, too, am looking forward to watching him take the oath of President on January 20th.

Until then, we have to hope that Bush just keeps a low profile and doesn't try to sign some idiotic new Presidential Directive or to promise the big business that we, the taxpayers will be giving away another $100 to $700 Billion for their spending pleasure!
