and I'm remembering my honeymoon in Niagara Falls, New York; where it was Absolutely FREEEEEZING COLD. It's hard to believe that was almost a year ago!

And my 42nd (yikes!) birthday will be a week from today, on the 14th. Time is going by so fast that I just wonder how I can slow it down a bit.

I don't really know what to post here anymore. I would just like to say that I am impressed with Barack Obama's speed in choosing his Cabinet. Most president-elects don't choose their Cabinets until just before they're inaugurated; which doesn't give much time to analyze their experience. Now we have the time to thoroughly check out who is being chosen and what they will do for US.

I also hope that Congress can come up with a solution as far as helping the US automakers. It's not about the CEOs and their salaries--it's about making sure that up to 3 Million US workers don't lose their jobs! Why Bush will give tons of money to bankers, but not want to make sure that US workers don't lose their jobs (especially after learning that over 500,000 people lost their jobs just last MONTH) is just beyond comprehension.

I just really believe that Bush could care less about anyone--unless they have MONEY. I bet he wishes us "Common Folk" would either go away or die. To him, we are like a 'thorn in his side' that he wishes to throw away. Sorry, Bush, but we're NOT garbage that you can wave away with a magic wand. We are your fellow human beings that have the same right to exist and to live; just like you!

Mercedes
