I'm so happy for you and your son and daughter-in-law. You'll have to hire a security guard to keep the boys away when Scarlett gets a bit older! :)
I'm sorry I haven't written for a while, but my husband's father passed away on New Year's Day from a massive heart attack. I'd been in Houston and got back to SA on the 7th and had to go right back to work (my other co-workers were given 'unpaid' time off on Friday, January 2nd and Monday, January 5th, so I only missed two working days. I am trying to keep up with my increasing workload, plus, a co-worker will be leaving soon. The lady with the disabled son who lives with her sister is going to retire and all three will be moving into a building that has assistance and help for shopping and doctor's appointments, etc... It's not a nursing home, but it's a huge apartment building where the residents can get access to health care services.
My dear husband is just so hurt by his father's death. He was the only child to communicate with his father for a long time, because of his mother's self-destructive ways. After his mother's death he got to see his father be re-married (not even a year ago) to a fine lady who made him so happy for the first time in years. I'm so happy that his father did have so much Love and Happiness before he left this world.
Well, this will be all for this week. I have so much housework and laundry to catch up with today, plus making meals for the week, then off to SA for another work week.
Again, Peggy, Congratulations and Best Wishes to you and your family!
Love,
Mercedes
