The Republicans can't face the TRUTH that they were the ones that let this happen to us. From early 2001 to January 2007, Republicans were in charge of the White House and Congress, and let's face it too, the Supremes. So whatever they did WAS, IS and forever WILL BE their responsibility.
I think they are wishing that we Americans are so stupid or so fair-weather that we are going to soon forget that W. Bush sold us out to the highest bidder (a tie between China and Saudi Arabia of which one owns the most percentage of US of A), that we were sold a pack of LIES to get us into Iraq, that we were told DEregulation was GOOD for the economy and that the government should keep its nose out of business affairs, that if tax cuts were given to the rich, then that would provide the incentive for them to make jobs for us, that we didn't need our Habeus Corpus or that we should be okay with being spied upon, whether by warrantless wiretaps or satellites, that if we didn't follow Bush and his crowd then somehow we were UNpatriotic and rooting for the Enemy.
Nope, no way am I just going to forget all this happened and I'm not going to let Republicans start blaming President Obama for everything from this economic situation to the Fall of Adam and Eve, to the Great Flood of Noah, like they always do. Neither am I going to listen to them when they start saying our President isn't a US citizen or that he's actually a Muslim communist who's trying to take over the US.
If the Republican governors don't want the Stimulus money, then they can give it to other states, or they can send it back to Washington, DC to be used to pay off the National Debt W. Bush left us with. (Hear that, Governor Perry of Texas? You don't want the money for us who live in Texas, so stop being a Republican Hypocrite and make up your mind already! Do we people who live in Texas get help or do we get told (again) that we should 'pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps'?)
Of course the Republicans can't defend any of their policies. They run like scared rabbits to people like Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilley and let them fight their battles for them. These people are supposed to be adults???
Question: Isn't there one Republican in this country that can stand up and speak for themselves and their party? Isn't there one Republican who can honestly defend and show why their party is good and moral and the 'christian' party? Isn't there one Republican that will accept responsibility for what W. Bush has done to us?
Answer: Hell, NO!
