I'll try to read the magazine when I'm in line at the grocery store this afternoon. I can't see wasting good money to buy anything that has to do with that Limbaugh fellow. To me, it's like flushing money down the toilet. LOL
Speaking of grocery stores--are the food prices going up where you live? It seems as though everything is going up in price, except for the old paycheck. I'm paying more and getting less. What a bummer...
I and my husband were in a 'fender bender' on Friday evening. I HATE driving when it's raining, because some idiot will always decide to tailgate either on the highway or city street. We got hit from behind, and the driver took off, leaving our rear bumper on the road and us okay, but a little shaken. His car has no front right light or turn signal--they came off when he hit us. I called the police and they said they'd issue reports to the mechanics in the city if the hit-and-run fellow tries to get a new light and turn signal put on to call them. I have a feeling that I will be paying a $500 deductible to have that bumper put back on--probably tomorrow. I'm going to drive the car into SA this evening after it gets dark then bring it to a shop where I usually have it checked out tomorrow morning. I know they can put the bumper back on but I don't know how much it will cost. Another bummer...
Sometimes, I wish I had enough money for one day only--just so I could pay off old bills, get a few things fixed up, and buy a ton of dog and cat food and bring it to the nearest animal shelter after I've fed mine. That would be nice!
I bet Miss Scarlett is getting to be a beautiful baby and keeping everyone busy. I hope to be a Grandma, too, but not right now.
Love,
Mercedes
