But why bother. I think I've made my point.

As am I, even though I'm highly skeptical that we could survive culturally if we all were.

Oh, no. Not the only thing. The animals haven't developed the capability of wiping out the planet all by themselves. That's another thing which separates us from them.

Also, that humans are, due to their intelligence, also arrogant enough to think they know how they are going to progress.
