[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Sun, June 14, 2009 10:03:51 It's been such a hot week in San Antonio, that when I came home Friday, I've just been catching up on sleep. It's not that I don't have an air conditioner, but when you have to go outside, from your job to your car in the parking lot or from the grocery store to your car; it's like you're walking inside a Sauna. It is so Humid and Hot! The average temperature is supposed to be a high of 91; Not 100! It's too soon to be this hot down here in Texas. Well, if this isn't due to Global Warming, then someone must have opened the door to Hell and forgot to close it! Well, I see that Gov. Palin is in the news again. I didn't see the episode with David Letterman making those comments--but I do think he went a bit overboard and he admitted it, too. But Palin and her 'first dude' are taking this all the way to the bank and keeping themselves on the TV for almost a whole week now. I think Palin should just keep her mouth shut about this from now on--since she was the one that slyly suggested on "The Today Show" that Letterman was a pervert and should be kept away from young girls. NOW who's going overboard? Just counting the days to the afternoon of June 26th. I'll leave work for my 2 week vacation then. My husband and I will be leaving for Houston probably on June 27th and stay until July 3rd. Then we're going to spend about 3 days and nights in Corpus Christi near the Gulf of Mexico. I hope they will have a fireworks display for July 4th, but I don't know yet. My son and his friends will be going to New Mexico, to the mountains, to get away from the heat;at about the same time. It's hard to believe Chato will be 21 years old this month! I will try to post another message before I leave for SA for the week--I'll be leaving about 2:30 pm.
