even with all the nasty stuff going on between obama and hillary i really don't think there is that much difference between them.

each wants fiercely to win and, having watched the debates including the most recent one, i am now convinced the differences are more style than substance, if that's the way to put it.

i don't think either is a bad person.

on the other hand i absolutely dread the prospect of mccain being president.

this would be bush all over again.

our troops would be in iraq for ever.

he would not hesitate to start another war.

he would see that the rich get preferential treatment.

he would do everything possible to get roe v. wade overturned.

the thought of him being president really scares me.

i can live with either obama or clinton, though i prefer obama.

to be honest, i worry that the democrats will blow this one.

that whoever wins the nomination, the other person will say "okay, i am going to stay home and not vote." that may tip the scales for mccain.

this is what mccain is hoping for and the way things are going he may just get what he wants.

I look at it this way- anything after Bush would be an improvement, even McCain (NT)Opti MistMon, April 21, 2008 9:17:42
