Subject: Last night's result bothered me deeply. I hope that Obama can close the deal in the next few weeks. If not there is going to be hell to pay and McCain may waltz into the White House.

I am very unhappy that Obama has problems winning states that will be very important in the general election.

There's definitely a vulnerability here and I am not a happy camper this morning.

The other harsh reality is that if the polls are correct there are many Hillary supporters who will either sit out the election (not vote for Obama) or will vote for McCain.

That does not bode well for Obama.

What will his nomination be worth?

Can he overcome the pitfalls that lie ahead?

I don't have the answers but I am concerned that he is not doing as well as I hoped he would be doing at this time.

Rather than a comeback, I see Penn. as Hillary's "last hurrah". The remaining primaries all favor Obama. Plus, he's got the cash. After he wraps it up in early June, there's nearly 3 mos. remaining to unite the party before the convention (NT)Take heart!Wed, April 23, 2008 10:04:28
